With the start of a new school year, I want to take a moment to go over some of the expectations, grading policies, and assignment information.

Expectations:  Students should be prepared for class with their textbook, study guide workbook, notebook, and writing instruments.  Students should follow classroom rules of working quietly, staying on task, and being respectful towards others.

Grading policies: for all social studies classes, all in class and homework assignments will count for 20% of the overall grade; quizzes, tests, and major projects will be 80% of the overall grade.

Assignment information:  Unless otherwise noted, assignments are due the day after they are assigned.  Assignments received after their due date (excluding those due to absent days) will be considered late and will result in a partial credit.
