Mr. Meyer’s Classroom Guidelines

 

1. The teacher will dismiss you not the bell.

2. All the student handbook guidelines still apply in the classroom.

3. I do not accept late work unless you have a late work pass or were absent following the guidelines in the student handbook.  (*Note only 1 late work pass is given per 9 weeks)

4. Raise your hand to ask or answer a question. 

5. Absent work is up to the student to pick up and ask about.  You will find what we did in class on the assignment board.  All handouts & labs are found in the absent work shelf.

6. Bring these materials to class paper, writing utensil (preferably pencil), book, & folder.

 

If you break one of these guidelines you will be given a consequence.

Possible consequences for breaking any of the guidelines are as follows.

A verbal warning

A phone call home

A seat change

A after school detention

A parent teacher conference

An office referral

 

*If you think that you have been misjudged you may appeal your case on your own time, but not class time.

**I reserve the right to change the classroom guidelines if it becomes necessary.
