Ms. Rebey
Guidance Counselor A-L

Hello, I am Ms. Rebey, the guidance counselor for students with the last names A-L.  I have a Master’s Degree in Education specializing in School Counseling from Purdue University. This is my 6th year at Grimmer, and my 11th year working for the Lake Central School Corporation. In my spare time I like to spend it with my two sons who race motocross. Students and parents, if there are any school, family, or relationship concerns, please feel free to contact me in the Guidance office. I am a firm believer in positive attitudes, and I enjoy being able to make a difference in the lives of others.  My goal is to help students become successful in school by being prepared, respectful, and responsible individuals.

Miss DiPaolo
Guidance Counselor M-Z

Hello and welcome to Grimmer Middle School.  My name is Ms. DiPaolo and I am the guidance counselor for students with the last names M-Z.  I had the opportunity to teach prior to becoming a guidance counselor and this has given me the experience to see different sides of the learning environment.  I have a Master’s degree in Education specializing in School Counseling and two undergraduate degrees in Education and Business Management.
I look forward to working with students regarding any academic, social, or personal concerns they may be experiencing. I feel having a synergistic, working relationship with students, parents, and teachers is vital. In working together, the opportunity for student success is greater. Middle school years are formative years and students are experiencing a lot of growth: physically, cognitively, and emotionally. I am here to support and help guide students through this exciting and challenging time.

Mrs. Vollrath
School Service Provider

Hello! My name is Amber Vollrath.  I am the School Service Provider at Grimmer Middle School.  It is my responsibility to provide social, emotional and educational support to the students of Grimmer.  I meet with students on a regular basis to discuss grades, develop academic and organizational goals, improve social skills and to lend support in times of need.

I graduated from St. Mary’s College with a double major in Psychology and Speech Communications. In the past, I have worked as a Behavior Specialist as well as a School Service Provider for high school students.  I was also given the opportunity to substitute teach, both long and short term, at the elementary and middle school levels, as well serve on an educational team to implement cognitive and motor skills strategies to at risk kindergarteners and preschoolers.

I am looking forward to working with all of the wonderful students at Grimmer.  Please feel free to contact me with any concerns you may have about your child.
