Ms. Megyesi
Guidance Counselor A-L

lmegyesi@lcscmail.com

Hello!  I am Lindsey Megyesi, the school counselor for students with the last names A-L.  I have been a school counselor since 2013 after graduating with a Master’s in School Counseling from Capella University.  I joined Lake Central in 2021, and am excited to be a part of the counseling team at Grimmer.

I enjoy working with our students to help them reach their full potential, both for academics and social emotional skills.  I believe in a team approach and welcome working with parents to help their students be successful.  Parents and students are able to reach out to me if there is a concern with school, family, or social relationships that may impact the students’ school day.

When I am not working, I spend my time with my family going to their sporting events and staying active!  Please do not hesitate to reach out if you or your student has any questions or concerns during the school year.

Hello! My name is Amber Vollrath.  I am the school counselor for students with last names M-Z. I have been at Grimmer since 2013. It is my responsibility to provide social, emotional and educational support to the students of Grimmer.  I meet with students on a regular basis to discuss grades, develop academic and organizational goals, improve social skills and to lend support in times of need. Since 2022, I have been the Social Emotional Learning coordinator for secondary education for the Lake Central school district. Myself along with a team of dedicated teachers and staff members collaborate throughout the year and during the summer to plan Advisory lessons for all middle school students in the Lake Central school district.

I am looking forward to working with all of the wonderful students at Grimmer.  Please feel free to contact me with any concerns you may have about your child.
